Back to school & i Smell Soap by ivi Scents!

Ok! I started school yesterday and I couldn't be more pumped because I decided this semester (while I have my unlimited bus pass for like 5 months) I am going to change somethings around in my life and one of those things is getting out of the house more so I want to put my bus pass to good use and go exploring as much as I can until the pass is up.

Well... getting my pass was a minor hick up in the plan lol

First there was a long long line to get the pass so I s

tood there so long my legs and lower back was hurting (mind you I have my back pack with a heavy book in it on) and its freezing anddd im

starving. I finally get up to the window and the lady tells me I have fees I need to pay before I can get my pass and it all came up to $27... how much did I have? $26, thats right... a dollar short and turned away with having only payed my health fee which I could have payed online! I wanted to cry! I should have checked it out online first and made sure there wasn't anything I was missing but I really forgot about the

stupid health fee!

Enough complaining, I'll get the pass tomorrow. Besides that I got the teacher I wanted which I was really hoping I would =)

On to soap!

I've been hearing a lot of good things about ivi scents soaps and I have been wanting to try them for a lil bit now and today they finally arrived!!! I know its just soap but its not...

they are non toxic, veggie based, smell really good soap!

No: Sulfates, Parabens, Mineral Oils, Triclosan, GMOs or Phthalates. And they are hydrating! I hear people say their skin is really soft after using it. I'm super excited to try them!!

Birthday Cake:

Everyone has been talking about this 1 and I see why... although I havent tried it yet, I can tell its gonna be awesome. At first sniff I smell butterscotch! but then as I opened the wraper a bit more

I start to smell at the different layers and it really does smell like a cake.. makes you want to take a bite out of it.

Knight In Shining Armor:

I can smell berries! with some floral hints and something else I can't describe... I just might skip over Mil

k and Honey for this 1 lol it smells really fresh

Ozone:

I heard someone describe this as smelling like the beach and I agree... it does have a light beach-like smell to it, well the way the beach is supossed to smell anyway, like you get out the car, smell that ocean breeze and cant wait to feel the sand between your toes.

And now on to the land of...

Milk And Honey:

I wanted to try this 1 after Birthday Cake just cause of the name lol I had the order of how I was gonna use them while I was ordering them online. Birthday Cake cause its number 1 and I keep hearing about it and then Milk And Honey cause reading the name I can picture being in the bath rub with the sweet smell of it all around me and smelling it right now... oh man.. it smells really good, like honey.. I can't really describe it any other way. It's back at the top of my list again... sorry Knight In Shining Armor! lol

These are the majority of the collection, I'm just missing Hawiian Cake and Sand Castle which I'm definatly ordering soon!

she also has all of these in a body butter to go with them and I'm sure they smell amazing... in my opinion they are a bit too pricey for 4 onces.. I say try the soaps, figure out which ones you LOVE and get the body butter (which she calls body frosting) and use it for special occasions lol

My first blog!!

Hi everyone!

So I signed up for blog spot not really knowing what I want to blog about but, I've been wanting to really make some changes in my life and take the steps in getting on my feet, finding myself, reaching goals and start living life more.

After not knowing what I was going to say for my first entry I picked tonight to write something because of dinner. My dad made neck bones, greens, and macaroni and cheese, only thing that is missing is the black eyed peas! I haven't had neck bones in sooo long and I had a memory of the family having it for dinner once and the next day there wasn't that much left so my brother took the rest and put it in a big brown bowl that we had, heated it up and we shared it... I can still hear the slurping as we chowed down lol and I really wonder what happened to that old brown bowl!? I miss it and I miss the good times although it definitely wasn't all good... I miss the few there were... the memory is hitting me kinda hard and I'm not really sure why, might be cause of hormones but it makes me kind of sad, I feel like our family has drifted into a place I don't really like and I wish it would change but I can only change myself and my situation.

With all that said, join me on my journey of change, I want to say I'm going to try and work hard at this but a friend told me a couple days ago to take try out of my mentality unless its to try something new plus I believe we speak things in existence and attract things to us so I'll say I'm going to work hard at this. I'm not sure how often I'll post or what exactly I'll post about but good or bad I will keep updating on progress.
